the monster and the chicken

i watched in third person as some huge guy spider elephant monster helps someone to escape. earlier it was played with different people, and every time they were brought to the ‘final’, as it seemed that way with a large piece of fabric hanging on a rock. when each of them go there, they all did something different, either grab onto it, get to the top of the rock, and each time, they got shot down and died by incoming tanks chasing them. this time, i watched a chicken. it was running with the huge monster and they got to the final. the monster said, “get under this!” referring to the fabric. the chicken got under but nothing seemed to change as the tanks were getting closer. “is this even right?” the chicken asks the monster. the monster lifted up the fabric and said, “i just hoped you would have never asked for my help” he said seemingly sadly. it seems he didn’t actually know how to help, even if he wanted to, yet he brought every person here and said it was the right way. he wanted a friend and wanted to be one, but really he didn’t know how and pretended while he brought each one to their death. yet the sadness confused me. he knew what he was doing each time, coming out unscathed every time, yet letting the situation repeat. the chicken, aware it has to help itself now, turns around and flies. yet we know, chickens don’t truly fly, but the chicken was so high. even then, it was gradually getting lower. in my third person view, like a drone, i notice a yellow square in the ground, named “the second drop zone”. the chicken seems to fly straight into the hole, conveniently the exact size of them, where no one else could follow behind to get in. i could see the tanks stopping, stumped. inside, the chicken was dropped into another room, and the ground opened up with happy faces and my dream ended.
